Located in the heart of Bangkok, hanging fronds of an large ficus tree veil the entry into the new hotel, creating a poetic arrival in relief to the sun bleached alleyway approach. 

Working within the existing confines of two shop houses and a dilapidated site to the rear, the project’s forecourt entrance provides a podium for an elevated lantern building including lounge, bar and dining space, with outdoor amenities closely connected. Green walling provides privacy and surrounds with a communal pool and deck above oriented above towards the entrance tree canopy. The existing shop houses were converted into 36 rooms, with their small footprint optimized by creative planning, orientated and screened with landscape.
