TIERRA developed a beachside restaurant in Bangtao, Thailand to be highly experiential. The arrival sequence was highly considered, with screening, sculptures and lighting of an existing Tamarind tree to be welcoming and ephemeral. From within the restaurant, grouped seating ‘rooms’ are immersed into a central water feature, with additional surrounding pavilions framing beach views of water and fishing boats.
